Description: This high wind gust was measured by the Oklahoma mesonet site two miles south-southeast of Chickasha. The wind gust was caused by a wake low that developed in southwest Oklahoma behind an area of showers and thunderstorms that moved across the state. The wake low eventually moved northeast across central Oklahoma causing the wind gust near Chickasha. |
